La Herradura: se llama así porque junto a las montañas y la costa hace forma de herradura. Este pueblo es perteneciente a Almuñécar, por eso en el mapa no se ve.
Clima: La Herradura tiene muchas horas de sol al año. Sus inviernos son cortos y los veranos más largos Su clima es más bien subtropical porque no tenemos mucha humedad y la brisa del mar hace que el calor en varias ocasiones no sea tan intenso. Las montañas también suelen cubrir el frio que viene de las Sierra Nevada en Granada.
Tiempo libre: En La Herradura puedes disfrutar de un montón de cosas, deportes acuáticos, subacuáticos por cierto los fondos del mar de La Herradura son unos de los más visitados por gente de todo el mundo por la belleza de las especies de plantas o peces e incluso rocas y piedras. También puedes andar a caballo hacer paseos por las montañas y visitar un acuario que se inauguro hace pocos días.
