Yanapuma is a not-for-profit Spanish school located in Quito’s Mariscal district. At our Spanish School, we focus not only on top quality classroom Spanish instruction, but also on making the entire learning experience as effective, memorable and fun as possible. Our friendly staff, professional Spanish teachers, and welcoming home-stay families and hotels make every effort to make you feel at home.

Studying Spanish with Yanapuma provides the perfect introduction to latin America for students of all ages. We offer a secure base from where you can relax and enjoy the vibrant and historic city of Quito and all it has to offer, as well as the rich cultural and natural heritage of Ecuador – all while you learn the Spanish language.

We arrange regular optional activities – half-day, whole-day and weekend excursions, as well as salsa and cooking classes, nights out and cultural excursions for our Spanish students (see right: Upcoming Events).

All profits from our Spanish School help fund the work of Yanapuma Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable practices in urban and rural communities throughout Ecuador.

We can also organize volunteering activities through our “Volunteer Ecuador” program, either in Quito or throughout Ecuador.
